Treats and Chews
Long-Lasting Chews
From pig ears, bully sticks, and natural bones to collagen, fish skin, antlers, yak cheese, coffee wood, rawhide, and plenty of other options, we carry chews for just about every size and chewing style. Some are tougher and longer lasting, while others are easier to chew or from a particular protein source. We can help you compare the size, hardness, ingredients, value, and how long each option is likely to keep your dog busy. Ask us about our American-made and Michigan-made choices too.
Brands may include: Tasman’s Natural Pet, N-Bone, Icelandic+, Himalayan Pet Supply, Jones Natural Chews, CollaChews, CANOPHERA, Redbarn, Great Lakes Pet Treats, and Happy Howie’s.
Training Treats
Whether you’re working on basic commands, potty training, recall, leash manners, or just rewarding good behavior, we carry plenty of small, easy-to-give training treats. Options range from soft, high-value bites to crunchy treats and limited-ingredient choices, with different proteins and sizes for puppies, small dogs, picky eaters, and frequent training. We can help you find something your dog is excited to work for without giving them a huge treat every time.
Brands may include: Icelandic+, Zignature, Bil-Jac, Wholesomes, NutriSource, and Evanger’s.
Single and Limited Ingredient Treats
For dogs with food sensitivities, or owners who simply want a shorter ingredient list, we carry single-protein, limited-ingredient, human-grade, and organic treat options in different proteins, textures, and sizes. These treats can make it easier to avoid ingredients that haven’t worked well before, try a less common protein, or choose a simple everyday reward. Bring us the ingredients you’re trying to avoid, and we’ll help compare labels and narrow down the choices.
Brands may include: Evanger’s, Sam’s Yams, Happy Howie’s, Finley’s, Blue Buffalo, and Loving Pets.
Bulk Treats
We carry Wholesomes bulk dog treats by the pound, so you can grab a little or stock up without paying for a bunch of extra packaging. They’re also available by the full 20-pound box for multi-dog homes, frequent treat buyers, trainers, or anyone who already knows their dog likes them. It’s a simple, economical option for everyday treats.
Dental Treats
We carry a variety of dental treats for dogs that can help with everyday chewing, fresher breath, and reducing buildup on the teeth. Some are made for daily use, while others are longer-lasting chews or use different ingredients and textures. We can help you compare the options based on your dog’s size, chewing style, and what they will actually eat.
Brands may include: Icelandic+, Greenies, Wellness, PlaqueOff, Loving Pets, and Darford.
Dental treats can be a helpful part of routine care, but they do not replace regular brushing or veterinary dental care.
Specialty and Seasonal
Around the holidays, we bring in decorated dog cookies and other seasonal treats that make fun gifts or just a little something extra for your dog. The selection changes throughout the year, so there may be different flavors, shapes, gift packs, or limited-time treats depending on the season. Stop in or call to see what we have at the time.
Collars, Leashes, and Harnesses
Everyday Collars
We carry dependable everyday collars in a full range of sizes, from small puppy collars up through options for large dogs. Our selection includes Omnipet nylon collars, American-made leather collars, reflective styles for better visibility, and other basic options for everyday wear. Bring your dog in and we can help compare sizes and find a collar that fits comfortably without being too loose or too tight.
Leashes
We carry everyday leashes for dogs of all sizes, including Omnipet nylon leads, close-hold leads for better control, and 6-foot leather leads made in the USA by Leather Brothers. The leather options are available in braided or riveted styles, depending on the look and feel you prefer. We can help match the width, material, and style to your dog and how you normally walk them.
Harnesses
We carry everyday BAYDOG harnesses along with heavier-duty Alcott tactical harnesses for dogs that need a little more support or control. Fit makes a big difference with any harness, so bring your dog in and we’ll help size it, adjust the straps, and show you how it should sit and be used before you leave.
No-Pull and Training Gear
We carry martingale collars, muzzles, Herm Sprenger prong collars in classic and snap-on styles, and Sprenger slip collars for dogs that need more control during walks or training. These tools need to fit and be used correctly, so bring your dog in and we can help with sizing, show you how the equipment works, and explain when a different option may make more sense.
Heavy-Duty and Steel Gear
For larger dogs, strong pullers, or anyone looking for something more durable, we carry heavy-duty collars, leads, and steel gear made to hold up to everyday use. Options include Herm Sprenger collars, Alcott tactical collars, extra-wide nylon and leather collars, and jumbo chain leads. Bring your dog in and we can help compare sizes, materials, and the amount of control each option provides.
Tie-Out Gear
We carry steel cable tie-outs in longer lengths, shock-absorbing springs, and heavy-duty spiral stakes for giving dogs more room outside while keeping them secured. We can help match the cable length and strength to your dog’s size and setup, and show you how the stake and spring are meant to be used. Tie-out gear should always be checked regularly for wear and used with supervision.
Sizing and Fit Help
Whether you’re looking for the right size training collar or a properly fitting harness, we’re here to help.
Bring your dog in, and we’ll make sure you find the perfect fit!
Dog Toys and Enrichment
Durable Chew Toys
We carry tougher toys for dogs that go through regular toys fast, including Mammoth TireBiters, KONG Ballistic and Toughz toys, Jolly Pets balls, USA-made Benebones, Michigan-made Fido bones, and Nylabones. Some dogs do better with heavy rubber, while others prefer nylon bones, reinforced fabric, or a large ball they can push and chase. We can help compare the different sizes and materials based on how your dog normally plays and chews. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so toys should be checked regularly and replaced once pieces start coming loose.
Brands may include: Mammoth TireBiter, KONG Ballistic, KONG Toughz, Jolly Pets, Benebone, Fido bones, and Nylabone.
Fetch Toys
We carry simple fetch toys for dogs that love to run and chase, including KONG tennis balls, Jolly Balls, and Fido flying discs. There are options for playing in the yard, at the park, or anywhere your dog has room to burn off some energy. We can help match the size and style to your dog and how they like to play.
Tug Toys
We carry tug toys for interactive play, including Mammoth rope toys in different sizes and Fido Super Tuggers. They’re good for dogs that like pulling, shaking, and playing with their owner or another dog. We can help pick a size that fits your dog’s mouth and strength. Rope toys should be checked regularly and replaced once they become heavily frayed or start coming apart.
Plush Toys
We carry soft toys for dogs that like to cuddle, squeak, shake, or carry their toys around. Our selection includes Huxley & Kent plush toys, regular KONG plush toys, and KONG toys made with internal ropes for a little more structure. We can help pick the right size and style for your dog. Plush toys are not meant for heavy chewing and should be replaced once they are torn or the stuffing or squeaker becomes exposed.
Treat Toys
We carry treat toys that can keep dogs busy longer and make snacks a little more challenging. Options include classic KONG toys that can be stuffed with treats or food, Benebone bully-stick holders that help dogs get a better grip on the chew, and lick mats for spreading soft treats, canned food, or other toppers. We can help match the size and style to your dog and give you ideas for what to put in them.
Puppy and Teething Toys
We carry toys made for puppy teeth, including Nylabone Puppy chews, KONG puppy toys, Huxley & Kent plush toys, Benebone, Fido, and toys that can be chilled or frozen for sore gums. Since puppies often need different textures as they grow, we can help pick toys that fit their age, size, and chewing habits. We can also share simple at-home teething tips, like rotating toys, chilling a damp washcloth or carrots for supervised chewing, and redirecting your puppy away from furniture, shoes, and hands.
Health, Wellness, Puppy Care, and Car Safety
Skin and Coat Care
We carry a lot of different ways to help with dry skin, itching, hot spots, and overall coat condition, depending on what is going on with your dog. Options range from Diamond Naturals Skin & Coat food and daily supplements like Ultra Oil, Grizzly Pollock or Salmon Oil, NaturVet Brewers Dried Yeast, and Icelandic+ powder, to medicated shampoos and conditioners from Veterinary Formula, Sulfodene, and Nootie. We also carry Bitter Apple for discouraging licking or chewing. We can help explain what each option is meant for and how to use it, but recurring, severe, or infected-looking skin problems should be checked by your veterinarian.
Brands may include: Diamond Naturals, Ultra Oil, Grizzly Pet Products, NaturVet, Icelandic+, Veterinary Formula Clinical Care, Sulfodene, Nootie, and Bitter Apple.
Digestive Support
We carry a variety of digestive products for dogs dealing with loose stool, constipation, sensitive stomachs, or just needing a little extra support. Options include Nootie pre- and probiotics, NaturVet supplements, kaolin products, Pumpkin Powder, Tiki Dog pumpkin toppers, stool softeners, and special-diet foods from Fromm. We can help you compare what each option is used for and how to give it, but ongoing vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, pain, or other recurring stomach problems should be checked by your veterinarian.
Brands may include: Nootie, NaturVet, kin+kind, Pumpkin Powder, Tiki Dog, Fromm, and more.
Joint and Mobility
We carry joint and mobility options for senior dogs, active dogs, large breeds, or any dog that is starting to slow down and could use some extra everyday support. There are soft chews, powders, treats, and food-based options at different price points. We can help compare ingredients, serving sizes, and how often each one is meant to be given. New limping, obvious pain, or sudden changes in movement should be checked by your veterinarian.
Brands may include: Zuke’s, Ultra Joint, Progility Hip & Joint, NaturVet, Icelandic+, Flexadin, Cosequin, Fromm Nutritionals, and Evanger’s treats.
Dental Care
We carry a few different ways to help keep up with your dog’s dental care at home, including PlaqueOff, toothbrushes, fresh-breath water additives, and Nootie chlorhexidine products. Some options are meant for daily use, while others are better for more targeted care. We can help explain how each one is used and what may be easiest for your dog, but heavy tartar, bleeding gums, loose teeth, or strong ongoing odor should be checked by your veterinarian.
Calming and Stress
We carry several calming options for dogs that get worked up during thunderstorms, fireworks, car rides, grooming, being left alone, or other stressful situations. Options include Pet Releaf CBD treats and oils, Progility melatonin chews and calming bars, Storm Stress drops, NaturVet products, and Nootie calming supplements. We can help you compare the different ingredients, forms, timing, and package directions to find something that makes sense for your dog. For severe anxiety, sudden behavior changes, or dogs already taking medication, check with your veterinarian before adding a supplement.
Flea and Tick Treatment
We carry several options for dealing with fleas and ticks on your dog and around the home. For dogs, we have PetLock drops in different weight ranges, Wondercide spot-ons and natural sprays, Pro-Sense and PetArmor products, Veterinary Formula flea-and-tick shampoo, and Adams Plus flea dip. We also carry sprays for upholstery, carpets, vehicles, and other areas around the house, along with Zodiac foggers, lawn spray, and other outdoor options. We can help explain which products are meant for the dog, the house, or the yard and how they are supposed to be used.
Always use flea-and-tick products exactly as directed for the animal’s species, age, and weight. Never use a dog-only product on a cat, and carefully follow all directions for household sprays, foggers, and lawn treatments.
Eye and Ear Care
We carry products for routine eye and ear cleaning, along with more targeted options for wax, odor, buildup, and tear stains. Our selection includes ZYMOX ear wipes, medicated ear drops, ear washes, enzymatic cleaners, tear-stain removers, and cleaning wipes. We can help explain the difference between them and show you how to use the product safely at home.
Ongoing redness, swelling, pain, strong odor, discharge, bleeding, or frequent head shaking should be checked by your veterinarian.
First Aid and Recovery
We carry practical first-aid products for minor cuts, scrapes, cracked paws, and small grooming accidents. Options include styptic powder to help stop minor nail bleeding, liquid bandage, Sulfodene 3-Way Ointment, and protective balms for paws, noses, and dry skin. We can help explain what each product is meant for and how to use it at home.
Deep wounds, heavy bleeding, bites, burns, signs of infection, or injuries that are not improving should be checked by a veterinarian.
Puppy Formula & Nursing Supplies
We carry Esbilac puppy milk replacer, goat’s milk formulas, nursing bottles, and other feeding supplies for puppies that need supplemental feeding or cannot nurse normally. We can help you find the right supplies and explain how the bottles and formula are prepared, but very young, weak, or struggling puppies should be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
Car Safety
We carry several options for keeping dogs more secure and contained in the car, including Bergan carriers, hanging booster baskets, and auto harnesses. Different setups work better depending on your dog’s size, where they ride, and how much room you have. We can help compare the options, check the fit, and show you how everything attaches before you leave.
Grooming and Cleaning
Shampoo and Conditioner
We carry shampoos and conditioners for regular bathing, dry skin, shedding, tangles, mats, puppies, and dogs with sensitive skin. Options include Earth Rated, FURminator deShedding products, Magic Coat formulas for reducing shedding and helping with tangles and mats, hypoallergenic shampoos, Nootie tearless puppy shampoo, Fresh ’n Clean, dry shampoos, and oatmeal formulas. We can help narrow it down based on your dog’s coat, skin, age, and how often they are bathed.
Brushes, Combs, and Coat Care Tools
We carry grooming tools for different coat types and everyday needs, including Safari firm and soft slicker brushes, shedding blades, curry brushes, detangling combs, flea combs, and safety-tip grooming scissors. The right tool depends on whether your dog has a short coat, long hair, an undercoat, loose shedding, or tangles. We can help you compare the options and show you how to use them without pulling at the coat or irritating the skin.
Nail Care
We carry nail clippers, nail files, and styptic powder for keeping up with your dog’s nails at home. We can help you choose the right size clipper and explain how styptic powder is used for minor nail bleeding. We also offer basic dog nail trims for $5, as long as the dog can be safely handled and is brought in on a leash.
Ear and Eye Care
We carry gentle products for routine cleaning around your dog’s eyes and ears, including tear-stain wipes and solutions, along with ear-cleanser wipes for removing light dirt and buildup. These are useful for regular upkeep, especially for dogs with facial folds, light-colored coats, or ears that need frequent cleaning. Ongoing redness, swelling, odor, discharge, pain, or frequent head shaking should be checked by a veterinarian.
Wipes and Quick Cleanups
We carry easy cleanup options for muddy paws, dirty coats, light odors, and freshening up between baths. Our selection includes Earth Rated grooming wipes, Nootie waterless shampoo wipes, and dry shampoos for dogs that do not need a full bath. We can help you pick the right product and share simple tips for handling quick cleanups at home, in the car, or after a walk.
Stain and Odor Removal
We carry products for strong pet odors, skunk spray, and quick freshening between baths. Options include de-skunking shampoos, Odormute Original Enzyme Formula Powder, and dry shampoos. Odormute is mixed with water and uses an enzyme formula to work on the source of the odor instead of simply covering it up. We can help you choose the right product for the dog, carpet, bedding, upholstery, or another affected area and explain how it should be used. Always follow the label and test cleaners on a small hidden area first. Try club soda on carpet or upholstery messes!
Waste Cleanup
We carry everyday cleanup supplies for the yard, walks, travel, and accidents around the house. Our selection includes several styles of pooper scoopers, poop bags, and dog diapers in different sizes. We can help compare the options and find something that fits your dog and the way you plan to use it. Diapers should be changed regularly and checked for a comfortable fit to help prevent leaks and skin irritation.
Dog Bowls, Beds, Crates, and More
Dog Bowls
We carry a wide variety of dog bowls in different sizes, shapes, and styles. Our selection includes stainless-steel bowls, Loving Pets plastic bowls, and slow feeders for dogs that eat too quickly. We can help compare the size, depth, material, and shape to find something that works well for your dog and where the bowl will be used.
Dog Beds
We carry dog beds designed to fit inside standard crates, with sizes for 24-inch, 30-inch, 36-inch, and 42-inch crates. These beds give dogs a softer place to rest without taking up extra room inside the crate. We can help match the bed size to your crate and make sure it fits properly.
Dog Crates and Carriers
We carry Contour steel dog crates by MidWest in a wide range of sizes and at a good everyday price. These crates fold down for storage and are useful for puppy training, travel, or giving your dog a secure space at home. We can help match the crate size to your dog and explain how much room they should have inside.
Dog Playpens
We carry MidWest metal playpens in different heights for puppies and dogs of various sizes. They’re useful for creating a larger contained area indoors or outside, giving puppies room to play while keeping them away from furniture, cords, and other trouble. The panels fold down for storage and can also be attached to some wire crates. We can help choose the right height based on your dog’s size and how likely they are to climb or jump.
Natural Bedding
We carry large bales of straw directly from the farmer for only $9.42. Customers throughout Westland and the surrounding area use it for dog houses and runs, lawn seeding, garden projects, and plenty of other outdoor uses. We also carry prepackaged pine bedding in a 3.25-cubic-foot package that expands to 6.5 cubic feet, along with 141-liter packages of cedar bedding. We’ll help you choose the right option and carry the larger bags or bales out to your vehicle.
Pee Pads
We carry disposable pee pads from Earth Rated and other brands in a wide variety of sizes for puppies, senior dogs, travel, crates, and indoor accidents. We also have reusable artificial-grass potty pads for dogs that prefer a more outdoor-like surface. We can help you compare the sizes and styles based on where the pad will be used and the size of your dog.
Not sure what to use?
We can help narrow it down.
There are a lot of dog supplies that look similar on the shelf but work very differently once you get them home. We’ll walk you through the options, explain how they work, and help you understand why one might make more sense than another. That might mean properly fitting a collar or harness, choosing a leash or training aid, learning how to use an ear-care product, comparing supplements, or finding a practical solution for grooming, cleaning, chewing, or everyday care.
We also have plenty of at-home tips and tricks that can save you time, money, and frustration. Our goal is not just to sell you something and send you on your way. We want to help you leave with the right product, understand how to use it, and feel comfortable coming back when another question comes up.
